I was struggling to get my terraria world to load with a special seed, although it seems impossible currently following the recent terraria update, Gabriela Gómez did everything she could to help, and after an hour of trying different methods to get the server to work issued me a refund. Although its unfortunate Nitrado hasnt updated yet, I gotta say their customer support is wonderful
have been a Nitrado user for the past idk 5 years or so, having more the one server running there.through the years i have had a few issues, and usually it have taking up to 48 hours for support to get back to me,and then having to find the right time frame, where we both are able to type to solve the problem, can surely take some time!today i came into charge my servers, and had a issue with one of the servers, and had to get som assistens with it, only to see they had changed the way to get in contact with someone, they now have a chat system where you can chat with a AI to try solving the issue, and to my surprice, it actually worked very well! 5 min into the convasion, i actully got at answer i could use, i got told what to keep a eye on, in case i need further assisten.i am really surpriced over how simple it actually was to get this solved, without me having to stay up HOURS to be online when they get time, or me having that 'urgh' feeling, i am really surprised about this.
I have served as an ARK server administrator for over five years and have been a Nitrado customer since November 2021, operating multiple live environments and managing long-term player communities.Over that time, I’ve gained a practical, hands-on understanding of server performance, configuration, and optimization. One clear example is that through focused administrative tuning on my end, we were able to reduce server load times from approximately eight minutes to about one minute and twenty-seven seconds. That improvement demonstrates that strong performance is achievable within the platform when conditions are right.That said, for much of my experience, gameplay was affected by lag, extended load times, and inconsistent performance, issues that often required customer-side intervention rather than proactive resolution at the service level. As an administrator, this meant additional overhead managing player expectations while troubleshooting problems beyond configuration alone.Support responsiveness has also been inconsistent. There were periods where tickets took days to receive meaningful responses, and automated credential or bot-driven systems created unnecessary delays before reaching actionable assistance. For experienced administrators managing live servers, these delays can become operational bottlenecks.This review is offered constructively.
